This is a mandatory whitelist questionnaire to determine eligibility to play in server.

Applicants are expected to have a hardened understanding of the rules and write quality information in their responses, per answer, to qualify.

Failure to answer correctly may result in applicant needing to reapply.

Note that if denied, staff is not obligated to explain why.

If there are any questions about the application, submit them through a ticket in the State Region Discord.

All of our staff hand-picks all applicants after careful consideration.

Members are whitelisted according to their experience, demeanor, what they can provide the community and what the community can provide them.

We are a gathered collective of writers and creatives seeking to create interesting, diverse stories with each other, so any new addition matters deeply to the community as a whole.

What is your Discord username & Steam ID?

Describe your character and their background.

Please provide at least 150+ words detailing your character’s origin, personality, motivations, and goals. Characters with backstories involving slavery, Civil War & or Native American conflict are allowed within reason.

Define meta-gaming, power-gaming, and fail-RP in your own words. Provide one example of each.

We want to see that you understand these concepts clearly and can avoid them during RP.

Explain the Two-Life Policy in your own words. What are the actions and consequences of this policy?

You must prioritize your character’s survival in all situations. Describe a scenario where your character’s pride, greed, or emotions might tempt them to act recklessly. How would you handle this while still valuing their life?

If held up, player characters are expected to surrender. If in a life-threatening situation, player characters are expected to act accordingly. The State Region aims to be a highly immersive, intense survival server, where both the player character and attacker are held to a high standard.

What is the maximum number of people allowed in an armed group? Are there any exceptions to this rule?

What are you not allowed to do with alternate characters and why is it important?

Criminals and law enforcement are held to high standards. As a player, you should never interfere in law or criminal scenarios unless deputized or directly involved. Why is this rule important for server immersion, and how does it impact roleplay quality?

How many minutes of footage are required before and after a scenario when submitting a report? Why is this rule in place?

What kind of roleplay do you hope to bring to the server? What themes, stories, or character arcs are you most excited to explore? How will you contribute to others’ RP experiences?

More than one incorrect or incomplete answer will result in a denial and require reapplication.

If accepted, you will be invited to a voice interview via Discord to confirm rule understanding and ensure you're a good fit for the server. By submitting this application, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older and agree to follow all server rules and policies. Providing false information may result in denial or removal from the server.
